1. Do you handle licensing?
No, hunters are expected to do handle their own licensing. Visit here for information on setting up licenses and fees.

2. Is food and lodging handled separately?
No, food and lodging is apart of the total cost.

3. Is the rate different costs for non-resident vs. residents?
No, the price is the same.

4. Do you offer different amounts of day packages?
Yes, customized packages are available upon request. Please ask Tom for more details.

5. What are your space restrictions on the aircraft.
Each person is allowed space for 1 duffle bag and gun or less than 60 pounds.

6. What do I need to do with my trophy once it has been shot?
All meat needs to removed from the field before the hide and antlers can be removed. AK trophy hunts will be responsible for the transport of the meat, and trophies to the Main camp. The client will be responsible for the transportation of the meat, trophies out of the Main camp.

7. What is the biggest game that you or your customers have caught?
Our customers have caught the following:
number 7 SCI moose,
number 4 SCI pop-young dall sheep
Many more animals have made an SCI and Boone and crockett.

11. What makes you different from your competitors?
Here at Alaska Trophy Hunts, we own our airplane and have one of the highest success rates in Alaska. You won't go wrong with us!

12. Do you take multiple parties at once?
Yes, there are multiple parties that come into the base camp where they separate to their identified spike camps. There is one guide assigned per hunter.

13. How far in advance should I plan my trip?
The sooner the better. We prefer that most trips are planned 90 days out. Contact Us if you need a more immediate trip.

14. Are clients allowed to bring alcohol on the hunt?
Alcohol is discouraged but we do allow our clients to bring a small celebritory amount . Illegal drugs are not tolerated at all.

15. What about safety?
Every guide at Alaska Trophy Hunts is first-aid certified. We do everything in our power to ensure a safe hunt for both or guides and clients.
